Goodbye Khuntoria T~T

I know this isn't one of my usual blog posts but I just want to say, I already miss Khuntoria. Just finished watching the 64th episode of Khuntoria. I can't believe they have been together for 1 year and 3 months (465 days). I still remember watching the first ever Khuntoria episode and now it all came into an unexpected end. I still can't grasp the fact that Khuntoria's last We Got Married episode all came into a end today on June 17th. Not going to lie I cried like a baby. You might think, well that's stupid, why would you cry over this. WELL...I love them. I know it's a fake marriage but you really grow attach to them and watching them cry makes me emotional. I'll always be a fan of Victoria Song of f(x) and Nichkhun of 2pm. I'll always remember them as Khuntoria. Thank-you for making my Saturday mornings happy. Take care Nichkhun and Victoria and I hope to see you guys together soon! T~T

Review: Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream

Oh gosh! I promised to release a new review yesterday but never got the chance to take pictures for it until today. EXTREMELY SORRY! I have been really busy with junior year. Junior year will be the most stressful year out of my whole high school life due to all the college preps and needing to finish all my credits so my senior year wouldn't be so dreadful. Hope I do well! =]

Anyway, today I will be doing my first review on my all time favorite BB Cream! I am actually very excited to do a review on BB creams because I'm personally a huge fan of BB Creams and I want to share my experience with it and also hits and misses with different BB Cream brands I have tried.

So the BB cream I will be reviewing today will be one of my all time favorite BB cream : Missha M Perfect Cover BB Cream.

Missha is a famous cosmetics company based in South Korea, which, among many other skincare products, offers a wide selection of BB Creams. Usually BB Creams are only available in one, or maybe two shades to fit your skin tone, but most are leaning more towards the lighter fairer shade. The M Perfect Cover B Cream provides these following shades:

#13 Bright Beige
#21 Light Beige
#23 Natural Beige
#31 Golden Beige (this one is pretty new)

I purchased #23 because I am an Asian girl whose skin-tone is slightly tanned but with more of a yellow undertone. In MAC cosmetics, I would be a NC25-30.

This BB Cream is a multi-functional cream, promising to be / provide the following things :

Enhances skin shade
Anti-wrinkle cream
Conceals blemishes
UVA+UVB protection
Moisturizing
Makeup base
Foundation
Whitening

I have to admit, this BB Cream do live up to what it promises but I really don't see how this BB Cream is also an anti-wrinkle cream. I just don't see how that work. Also if you use this as a makeup-base, and apply a layer of foundation over it, the result must be truly horrible. But, I must admit, the coverage is amazing. Most BB Creams out there in the market only provides light to medium coverage, this BB Cream actually provides a good medium to full coverage. So the 2 words "Perfect Cover" really does suit this BB Cream well.

Swatches & How to Use:

I drew a line with my bare escentuals eye liner to show you
how well the coverage of Missha BB Cream really are.

Here I began blending the BB Cream in. As you can see, the grey under-
tone is very visible and it looks like it's nothing close to my skin tone.

This is how the BB Cream looks when it's fully blended in with your skin. The
eyeliner line is barley visible and it gave my skin a dewy finish. Here I would
suggest you to let it oxidize for 20-30 minutes.

Here is an comparison photo between one hand with BB Cream
and the other bare. The left picture is my hand with the BB Cream and after
25minutes of oxidizing. The right photo is my hands bare with no products on.
As you can see, the hand with Missha BB Cream looks more brighter and radiant
with a slight dewy look.

When you first apply this BB cream, you will definitely say to yourself "why is it so grey on me?!?!" Don't worry, you are not the only one. The first time I applied this BB cream on my face, I immediately love the texture, how easy it goes on your face and the scent. However, when it's on my skin, it made me look super pale even though the #23 suppose to fit me perfectly. Then I did some research and from reading Jen's blog (jenfrmheadtotoe), I understood that I really need the BB cream to oxidize. If I went out the house without waiting at least 30 minutes of oxidizing, I would range around a NC10. Which is nothing close to my skin tone.

Sadly, all makeup products have a down side to them. Some can be because the makeup's packaging is horrible quality or the benefits it promises doesn't really show results. Sadly, if you have oily skin, this BB cream will be your biggest drag of the day. I personally have oily/combo skin which means I shouldn't be using this BB cream. I definitely have to blot once a day and my t-zone, cheeks and chin will become very shiny throughout the day. MISSHA! IF YOU EVER READ THIS, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE MAKE AN OIL-CONTROL BB CREAM!

In conclusion, I love this BB cream very much. Such amazing coverage and I love the scent. Similar to the Johnson's baby lotion. I don't know about you, but I absolutely love that scent. Definitely go out and give it a try. Ranges about $20-$30 depending where you purchase it. I purchased mine from Macau, China which cost me around $140 Macau Pataca (MOP) which is about $18 USD.

Further questions? Feel free to leave a comment below and I will try to answer your questions the best I can.

P.S. Do you like how I arranged all the photos and descriptions? Should I do more post with these kinds of arrangements or should I go back to the regular formatting?

Hong Kong Haul

Hi guys! I'm back with a quick haul. My mom just came back last night from a 1 month trip to Hong Kong. I wished I could've went with her but I had intense tennis practices so I had to back out of that. Nonetheless, my mom brought back a lot of clothing and a few cosmetic/skincare products. (thankyou mom!!) But for now, I will just do this haul on the cosmetic/skincare products.

This is what my mom brought back for me. I am sure you can purchase all these items from Sasa or Bonjour online except the Laneige products and the Missha M Perfect BB cream. Other than that, all items shown here are all online on their websites. I must state that even on the website, their prices on some of these products are still a bit pricier than it actually is when you purchase them in the stores, but they aren't cheaper by much.

Left to right: Laneige Pore Trouble Skin Refiner, Mentholatum Acnes Youth Foam cleanser, Missha M Perfect BB cream #23, Laneige Snow Crystal Dual foundation #23, L'oreal Hyrdofresh Aqua-Essence, Mentholatum Lipice in strawberry and lychee, Clean & Clear oil control film, Skinfood Black Sugar Wash Off Mask.

NEW MY BEAUTY DIARY MASK!!! =]

Left to right: Strawberry Yogurt Mask, Apple Polyphenol Mask, French White Lily Mask and Japanese Hydrangea Mask.

Although the My Beauty Diary Blooming of Beauty mask was made to be limited edition for the Taipei International Flora Expo, it is still widely available for purchase in Bonjour. Sasa doesn't seem to carry them.

Will have more info and future reviews on these products ^_~ thanks for reading!!

P.S. I just realized how crappy the photo quality are in this post...i'm sorry. I guess it's time for my camera to retire soon.

Review: Epi Magic Facial Hair Remover

Hi Everyone!

I'm here to do my first ever review! (yayyyy!!!) This is a bit nerve racking but here I go...

Today, I am going to be reviewing the Epi Magic Facial Hair Remover.

I purchased mine from Pretty&Cute ( www.prettyandcute.com ) for $11.06 plus shipping. Originally, if P&C didn't hold a back to school sale which was 15% off your purchase, it would have costed me $12.55 to get it shipped from Oregon to NorCal. Pretty good saving I must say. Wished I could have purchased more during the sale.

I know some of you may say that I could've purchased it for a cheaper price on ebay but since I'm a girl who is very sceptical about purchasing things online, I rather turn to a site I am most familiar with. Also, I'm a concealed cash payer so I have to send in money and most sites doesn't allow that. But because of P&C's many paying methods, I can finally get my hands on one of these bad boys right here.

To Use:

You may ask, does it hurt? Well coming from a girl who has a VERY LOW pain tolerance, it was not bad at all. It did not hurt as much as waxing, and it is faster than tweezing. I only recommend you to use this on your upper lip, chin and cheek area. It does not work on plucking the hairs off your brows and I don't recommend that as well.

Overall, I love this product! So worth it! Results will last you 1-2 weeks, but it really depends on the growth rate of your facial hair. Everyone is different. It's pulling the hair out from the roots which is a lot easier on your skin then waxing since waxing is removing the hair and a thin layer of your skin. I suggest this method over waxing anyday! I will never go back to tweezing my upper lip anymore!!!

Pros:
Fast
Easy
Cheap
removes all facial hair especially my upper lip!

Con:
It's a bit awkward trying to turn the handle thingy

If you have any questions about this product, please feel free to comment below! =) thankyou~
